Misti Bezates, creative visionary and Co-Founder of Adornare Beauty Academy started her career in beauty in 2009 and became a salon owner in 2016. Now the “go-to” make-up, and certified lash and spray tanning artist in Portland, Misti is known for her technical expertise, as well as her innate ability to connect with and inspire her clients and students alike. Trained by the artists that work on Dancing With The Stars, Misti’s work has been featured in top publications including Beauty LaunchPad, Modern Salon, PopSugar and more.
Committed to using the highest quality products available, Misti creates a customized treatment plan for each and every client that comes through her salon inclusive of a consultation on proper post-care and maintenance at home. This attention to detail and personalization is what sets her service apart from others and keeps her clients loyal and the referrals non-stop.
A survivor of domestic abuse and mom to two young boys, Misti is a champion of women and passionate about helping them feel beautiful and confident. Through Adornare Beauty Academy Misti and her husband and business partner Todd will teach aspiring and established artists how to gain the technical and business skills needed to gain the financial freedom they deserve while making others feel beautiful.

Todd earned his BS in Finance / Marketing from the University of Oregon and went on to earn his MBA with a focus in Bank Management from Morehead State in Kentucky. A successful and award-winning entrepreneur, Todd has founded and managed several multi-million dollar businesses.
Real estate, lending, beauty salons, restaurants, coffee shops, car washes, home care, law enforcement and even a stint in SWAT; Todd, who at one point was a competitive powerlifter has quite literally seen and done it all.
